I am working with a client that is using “UNITS” as their result units for the T3 UPTAKE test. I see that LOINC 3050-2 has “%” as the result units. Should I use LOINC 3055-1 (Triiodothyronine (T3)/Triiodothyronine (T3) uptake index) which does not list result units? They are running this procedure in the Abbott ci8200 Architect. Abbott has not yet published LOINC’s for their Architect device.
