Question on a test LOINC mapping:Aldosterone in AVS

Dear all,

I would like to ask the most appropriate way to map a test “Aldosterone in adrenal venous sample”. The test is applied to address primary aldosteronism. And, the adrenal venous sample is taken to perform aldosterone analysis, similar to routine peripheral plasma aldosterone analysis in biochemistry laboratory. It is a test with property of Substance concentration or Mass concentration, Point in time and Quantitative.

More information about the test can be found at :

Thank you very much!

Hello,

I checked the most recent LOINC release and found this was not submitted/built as yet. If it is still a viable request, please see the LOINC User’s Manual on how to make a submission. Please have at hand an example report and the package insert or standard operating procedure.

Best regards, Pam
