I am mapping components of a Thin Prep PAP and I need some input regarding results for Abnormal Bleeding and Contraceptives.
These are yes or no answers.
I found nothing to use for Abnormal Bleeding but for Contraceptives I did find 8659-5, Birth Control Method-Reported.
This has a Normative answer list but yes or no is not an answer found on the list.
If I understand correctly, these normative lists are those specifically defined by a validated instrument or other authoritative source, so could not be used for a yes or no answer.
How would you recommend mapping these two test components?
