Loinc version change list

I am looking into whether Loinc names can change between versions. On this site, I have looked for information about version changes. The Version change releases - like at this page <a href=“https://loinc.org/kb/loinc-release-notes/”>https://loinc.org/kb/loinc-release-notes/&lt;/a&gt;

</div> but it doesn't show what the LOINC codes are for the 13 terms . It also doesn't show the actual changes like

Where are the actual changes listed?

Hello Ruth,

In SearchLOINC, you can use special search strings to identify the codes changed:

VersionLastChanged:2.74 chng_type:nam
https://loinc.org/search/?t=1&s=VersionLastChanged%3A2.74+chng_type%3Anam+

That will get you the 13 terms you reference in your message.

Within the Loinc_2.74.zip download file, there is an Updates folder within AccessoryFiles. The Updates.csv file in this folder will include changes to axes values (such as Component) with both before and new text strings.

Thanks. I think that confirms that in order to see exactly what was changed, i have to download and open the zip file and compare. What I don’t see is a way in the API to do that, e.g. show me code the code for 100888-7 in version 2.73. (or pick the last changed version. Thank you very much for the link too. That is helpful to get the terms in the api (I thought I had to query with the loinc code and versionlastchanged!)
