In order to maintain a comprehensive LOINC mapping on our results, particularly important now with eCase reporting to HIAs, we would like to add a LOINC for all results, even if they are not Charted. It is hard to tell when you are missing LOINCs on “real” results when you pull your database and there are things like Bill Only codes, or internal QC etc that truly are not applicable to having a LOINC as they are not Charted, but nevertheless it would be nice to include something in that field to indicate such. Has anyone applied a “no loinc” code in such a manner?
