LOINC answer code LA14072-5 Unsure is contained in several LOINC answer lists including LOINC Answer list LL5355-4 PRAPARE_Y|N|Unsure|No Partner|Not Answer.
While I am able to access LOINC Answer List LL5355-4 via a link on the page for LOINC code LA14072-5, I am unable to find this answer list when I use the LOINC Answer list lookup. It also appears that even though LL5355-4 is listed as an Active code, it is not in the current LOINC 2.80 release files.
Is this a known issue or is there another explanation as to why I cannot retrieve this code using the search?
Although the answer list LL5355-4 status is active in the LOINC database, this answer list specifically is not linked to any LOINC code. If there is no link, then the answer list is not released in our production environment, and therefore cannot be seen in the release files.
“LOINC answer code LA14072-5 Unsure” exists in other answer lists (10 LL lists) . Each one is linked to a LOINC code and can be searched and used in those answer lists easily, except LL5355-4.
