Kynurenin vs kynurenine duplicates?

Our research is not finding these bioactive indoleamines are separate and unique compounds. The tryptophan metabolic pathway seems to include kynurenin(e) and kynurenate. We cannot find them alluded to simultaneously in one article or location. Could you please doublecheck?
