We notice differences between challenge panels (often endocrinological challenges) where sometimes the term 'prechallenge ’ is used while other panel use ‘baseline’. Are both terms to be considered equal and is this a matter of inconsistency?

Hello Dr. Bakkeren! Nice to hear from you. I personally would agree they are considered equal and we have some inconsistency in the nomenclature. Would also refer to the knowledge base User’s Guide 2.2.2.1 “Reporting the baseline measure as part of a challenge test”. Would like to hear from other committee members?.. Best regards, Pam
