In version 2.36 this term was deleted IPCC_UNITS Delete , what is IPCC in this term?

We loaded historical data from Loinc in order and have retained a column for IPCC units. What are IPCC UNITS? I have not been able to find a description for this. Does this mean units from the
Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change?

Hello Ruth. This change dates back 2011 and we are having problems identifying specifics of this obsolete field deletion. As you suggest, it does appear to be Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Their website has older mentions of standard units.

For our purposes, since there are no current terms with that unit, I will just pass along that it is obsolete (which is what the earliest documentation I could find on your site ).
But as a fun and long term endeavor, perhaps at the conference or at a meeting, someone might actually remember and your organization could add it into the knowledge base?
