hsCRP LOINC Codes

Dear all,

I am trying to understand all possible codes used to identify hsCRP. A quick google search gave me: “30522-7”,“71426-1”,“76486-0”, based on the source of the test. Are these all or are there more? Is there a way to find out?

Hi J,

Using the LOINC browser (https://loinc.org/search) with and searching for “hsCRP” (e.g. https://loinc.org/search/?t=1&s=hsCRP) returns all of the LOINC codes that contain “hsCRP” in the LOINC related names field. This returns 5 LOINC codes for “High sensitivity C reactive Protein”

Just to verify these results, I took the additional step to search for “component: C reactive protein” which returns 13 LOINC codes, however, here we see that the original 5 are the high sensitivity codes.

The documentation located at LOINC Search Help shows how the search syntax works in the LOINC browser and how to search for specific content using the 6 axis of LOINC.
