Does LOINC have a naming convention or guidelines for naming document titles for clinical notes generated by AI, specifically notes generated by ambient scribe technology?

Thank you for this question. We discussed this on the Document Ontology committee monthly call and it was agreed that use of an AI scribe is a tool, akin to human dictation, that might be identified elsewhere in the provenance information recorded about the documentation of an encounter. It is not information that would be included or change the core element information we currently use to define a LOINC document concept.

FWIW, our organization does not watermark these notes on the front end or by naming convention. The LLM query output is linked in the background, but once a clinician signs their note, it is theirs. No matter what type of help/tool was used to generating the note.
