COVID-19 Antibody tests after Immunization

Is there any Serology test to determine the presence/ levels of antibodies formed after the administration of COVID-19 vaccine?

The following tests are available: 95411-5 & 95410-7 : SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) Neutralizing antibody tests (which determine whether the antibodies produced after SARS-CoV-2 infection or after vaccination are able to neutralize the virus and prevent infection).

Hello Malarkodi,

The next release content may be seen through loinc.org/prelease and loinc.org/submissions/queue with a status of Done. I can see one SARS coronavirus 2 spike protein RBD Ab.neut (96603-6)

Literature does reveal immunity effective differences between the spike and nucleocapsid proteins of SARS coronavirus 2. At this moment, submissions from the industry have not been made for new terms at a more specific Component to this level of detail. The team is working with industry and US government to plan for more development in the future.

Stay tuned!

I find 96603-6 SARS-CoV-2 (COVID19) S protein RDB neutralizing antibody. How about SARS-CoV-2 (COVID19) S protein NP neutralizing antibody? Is there any suggestion on LOINC code ?

Hello!

The LOINC development team is dedicated to building LOINC terms for SARS-CoV-2 assays as soon as the FDA Emergency Use Authorization has been issued. The preferred term for all current manufacturers can be located at https://www.cdc.gov/csels/dls/sars-cov-2-livd-codes.html . Please see if the manufacturer and test kit information are posted there.

I searched the current submission queue at https://loinc.org/submissions/queue/

From my recollection of current conversations, the SARS-CoV-2 S protein RBD neutralizing antibody was created to determine immunity status.

If you are a manufacturer or have information about an assay that doesn’t seem to have a term assigned, please post your information through https://loinc.org/contact/?t=sars to get started.
