Hi,

We are starting to do the test kit “ROM PLUS” which looks for both Placenta Protein 12 (PP12) and Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) but with a single result.

This is replacing the Amnisure test which measure for PLACENTAL ALPHA MICROGLOBULIN1 (LOINC # 50385-4).

Any idea about this new test’s LOINC number?

Thank you!

cs

Hello!

I personally haven’t seen many manufacturers submit for new LOINC codes upon kit development. I suggest you make a submission for the next release, using RELMA. Include the package insert from Clinical Innovations, as well as deidentified normal and abnormal example reports. Full details of making a submission are included in the RELM documentation.

They are very helpful staff!

Best regards,

Pam
