I am in process of trying to implement LOINC for our Lab. However, what I have seen is that most LOINC companies haven’t dabbled in the genetic cancer space and thus the pool of vendors that provide such a product may be scarce or non-existent. Has anyone implemented LOINC in a genentic cancer laboratory or know of a vendor that could provide this solution? I am working with the CDC and they have also stated that LOINC for genetic cancer labs is going to be difficult as this is not as straight forward as an implementation for routine CBC work, as an example. Any help or direction you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.
