Are there any existing policies about protection of submitters’ intellectual property that might be contained in SOPs, etc. that are submitted to support LOINC proposal submissions? It is understood that the submission itself, including the provided descriptions, will be publicly available as part of the standard. But the SOPs often contain more detailed information that submitters may not want to go further then the committee and staff.
