Non-interfaced Microbiology

We use CPSI without the micro part. The micro reports come from the microscan and appear as copied pages in the LIS. Since the organisms and antibiotics are not in the LIS, I don't know how to attach the Loinc codes, any ideas?

Hi,

LOINC is intended to be included in the HL7 messages in the OBX segment. Do the copied pages in the LIS get distributed through HL7 to the clinicians? There's been limited discussion about assigning LOINC codes to .pdf style reporting. If you can provided de-identified examples of the OBX segments, we may be able to work further on it.
